Humane Society of Northwest Montana
Receives Grant from
Build-A-Bear Workshop® Bear Hugs Foundation

Kalispell, MT – The Humane Society of Northwest Montana is honored to be the recipient of a generous $1,500 grant from the Build-A-Bear Workshop® Bear Hugs Foundation.  Proving their commitment to making life more bearable for children, families, and pets who are in need of a helping paw, the Build-A-Bear Workshop® Bear Hugs Foundation grant will help fund medical needs of orphaned cats and dogs awaiting forever homes.

The Build-A-Bear Workshop® Bear Hugs Foundation grant was made possible through the sale of full-sized Bearemy Kennel Pals®.  One dollar from the sale of each plush animal is donated through the Build-A-Bear Workshop® Bear Hugs Foundation to domestic pet programs including local animal shelters, stray pet rescues, rehabilitation organizations, and pet education programs throughout the United States and Canada.

The Humane Society of Northwest Montana is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3)organization dedicated to finding loving homes for orphaned cats and dogs.  Located at 100 Adopt A Pet Way, off Hwy 93 between Kalispell and Whitefish, the Humane Society is home to the Charlotte Edkins Animal Adoption Center.  Public hours of operation are Tuesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
