Thrift Store Benefits Homeless Cats and Dogs
The Humane Society of Northwest Montana, home of the Charlotte Edkins Animal Adoption Center, is celebrating the grand opening of its new thrift store on Saturday, September 15th and invites all bargain hounds to shop till you drop.
The Humane Society Thrift Store is conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 2 and W. Evergreen Drive at the East Side Landing Retail Center in Evergreen. The street address is 2165 Hwy 2 East. (Go here for directions and more info.)
Thrift Store hours are Monday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and all thrift store proceeds will benefit homeless animals at the Charlotte Edkins Animal Adoption Center.
Tax-deductible donations of gently used clothing, furniture, household items, jewelry, books, antiques, art, electronics, pet items, sporting goods, toys and collectables are accepted at the Humane Society Thrift Store during regular store hours and may also be delivered to the Humane Society’s adoption center location at 100 Adopt a Pet Way, off Highway 93 between Kalispell and Whitefish, between the hours of Tuesday – Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition to accepting donated items, the Humane Society Thrift Store is also in need of hard working volunteers who would like to lend a hand and is accepting volunteer applications.
The Humane Society of Northwest Montana is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that operates a no-kill adoption/care center for orphaned cats and dogs.
